The day was so beautiful and the views of the river were so magnificent that everyone wanted a keepsake photograph!

Spectacular icicles had formed on many of the rock formations.

This route is very popular with cross country skiers. (Don't worry the women on the ground was not injured. She was simply laughing too hard to get up. Seemed like everyone we met was having a fantastic time!)

Leaving Mt. Rainier National Park boundary.

Smiles all the way home!

We were in search of the perfect easy hike in which Jennifer could get used to her new snowshoes. This is a route was perfect!! It is a great route for novices who want to practice walking on snowshoes for the first time, or for anyone seeking a relaxing day in the snow without a lot of exertion or fuss. This route requires no route-finding so you can just simply walk and enjoy the multiple views of White River.
